Maximizer Variable Speed Vertical/Horizontal Belt Grinder (base model)

This is the most innovative belt grinder on the market today. The main beam can be rotated from vertical to horizontal, and can be revolved 300 degrees in both directions in any position, allowing easy access to any of the 7 workstations. This means no time consuming change over. The variable speed motor provides belt speeds up to 4500 SFPM, and by changing over to the optional 8″ or 10″ drive wheels belt speeds can be increased to 6000 & 7500 SFPM. The work rests incorporate an elevating feature which allows for maximum belt usage and the reduction of hot spots (a groove worn into the belt). An optional 9″ disc can be fitted to the machine, along with various arbors for buffing pads and deburring wheels. Up to 4 optional LED lighting posts can be attached and positioned for optimal workstation illumination. The individual workstations available include a 3″, 4″, & 6″ contact wheels, and optional 8″ & 10″ contact wheels, and a small wheel station that accepts 1/4″ to 2-7/8″ contact wheels, and of course there are 3 flat platen stations that are included. All wheels are made with ultra premium urethane for long life. (Shown with optional tables).
