Robust polyester cloth backing, resin bonded, cooling lubricant resistant. Ceramic grain has an outstanding cutting performance, aggressive and cool cutting, with self sharpening characteristics. Woks great on castings, hand tools, tubes and rods (cylindrical/square) forged parts, stainless, basically on all ferrous and non-ferrous metals. This is an outstanding value. A premium ceramic grain at an extremely competitive price point.

These belts punch way above their price, I was able to profile and bevel 3 knives of 60+ HRC hardness before I ran out of abrasive, on one belt. Outstanding value.
