has a decent amount of bite and would be suited for use before using the 9um polishing film. Though after using it on a couple of knives, the seam pops. I’m running it wet at about 20% speed. I know that’s relative, but it’s not very quick.

This particular series of belts tend not to like water very much. The occasional dip knife in bucket method is reccomended with this product. The soft fuzzy backing seems to act like a sponge and assists heavily in the deterioration of the seam/joint. We appreciate your feedback and value your business.
